Kary’s journey into law took a unique path, as she initially pursued an undergraduate degree in English and spent three years teaching high school English in Austin and Fort Worth, Texas. It was during her time as an educator that she discovered her dream of becoming an attorney. She made the bold decision to relocate to Houston and enrolled at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Kary’s passion for law flourished during her internship with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted criminals, gaining invaluable experience as a litigator. Her career path led her to serve as an Assistant City Attorney during Mayor Bill White’s tenure, solidifying her dedication to advocating for the citizens of Houston. Kary’s extensive knowledge centers on safeguarding individuals while ensuring the safety and welfare of all Houstonians.
Kary’s top priority lies in assisting families, specializing in complex family law cases that involve child custody disputes and intricate property matters.
