Meet Kary, a native Texan who's called Houston home for over 20 years. Her path to law was unique, beginning with an English degree and teaching high school for three years. The dream of becoming an attorney led her to Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Kary's legal journey took her through criminal prosecution, working as an Assistant City Attorney for Mayor Bill White, and now focusing on complex family law cases. She's committed to amicable custody case settlements and fiercely protecting her clients' rights in court.

Introducing Kary, a native Texan with deep roots in West Texas and over 20 years of life in Houston. Kary’s journey into law took a unique path, as she initially pursued an undergraduate degree in English and spent three years teaching high school English in Austin and Fort Worth, Texas. It was during her time as an educator that she discovered her dream of becoming an attorney. She made the bold decision to relocate to Houston and enrolled at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Kary’s passion for law flourished during her internship with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted criminals, gaining invaluable experience as a litigator. Her career path led her to serve as an Assistant City Attorney during Mayor Bill White’s tenure, solidifying her dedication to advocating for the citizens of Houston. Kary’s extensive knowledge centers on safeguarding individuals while ensuring the safety and welfare of all Houstonians.

Kary’s top priority lies in assisting families, specializing in complex family law cases that involve child custody disputes and intricate property matters. She is a staunch advocate for reaching amicable settlements in custody cases, whenever possible, and she leverages her litigation background to fiercely protect her clients’ rights in the courtroom.

Beyond her professional commitments, Kary finds enjoyment in trivia and cherishes moments spent with her dogs when she’s not at the office.
